Welcome to Zionsville

Just northwest of Indianapolis, you’ll find the charming town of Zionsville, a town of just over 25,000 people that is located just over the line of Boone County.  Unique shops, art galleries, and restaurants can be found all along the brick-paved Main Street, and make Zionsville a destination for those searching for a relaxed, small town pace.
The town is just 18 miles from the city center of Indianapolis, but it has achieved a rural feel where it’s easy to find peace and serenity after the end of a busy day.

The town has a high standard of living, with house value, income, and education levels of its residents well above average for Indiana. It is considered a great place to raise a family, and its low crime rate makes it one of the safest towns in Indiana. The Zionsville school system is consistently ranked in the top five of all Indiana schools with an impressive 96% graduation rate. Families can enjoy the Zion Nature Center, the 400 acres of public parks, nature trails, bike paths, and a splash park.

One must-visit destination in Zionsville is Traders Point Creamery, an organic and 100% grass-fed large-scale dairy farm that produces some of the most decadently delicious yogurt and chocolate milk in the Midwest. All ages can enjoy a self-guided farm walk through the farm and through the forested areas along Eagle Creek. Or see the animals up close and view their cow milking operation in their guided farm tour.

New residents can meet neighbors at the weekly group dog walks through the Zionsville Park system, at local festivals, or events at the city’s Sullivan-Muncie Cultural Center. You can learn more about making Zionsville your new home at Zionsville and at Zionsville Life.
